Why Yoga Therapy?
People come to 1:1 yoga therapy sessions for a range of reasons. Sometimes its because they have enjoyed my classes and want to be guided deeper into their own personal experience within the yoga practice. Sometimes it's because of daily stresses, anxiety, depression or chronic pain. Sometimes they are having talking therapy and want a body-led therapy to compliment this.

Getting Started
Before our first appointment together, I will send you a ‘health information form’ to fill out and we will use the first appointment to understand together your dosha, think together about the layers of your physical, mental, energetic body, and identify goals for our sessions and your own personal practice.
-
My Intention
My intention is to hold space to guide you towards your own inner wisdom. At the end of every session I will send you a personal practice recorded either via audio or via video for you to do in between our sessions. Our sessions are confidential and will only be discussed with my supervisor.
‘‘Before I started yoga therapy with Jules I had back pain that niggled almost constantly. By practising the sequences Jules tailored for me all the pain has disappeared. It wasn’t something I was expecting, as none of the poses were particularly testing, but the impact was extraordinary. I felt really proud of myself, I had made that difference by doing the practices."

In my opinion Yoga Therapy is a chance to delve deeper into how the yoga practice could support you in a compassionate, non- judgemental space. I work relationally, tuning in to the here-and-now between us, and I support you to problem solve any blocks in your way to practicing in a way that makes you feel better.

You will leave every session with your own personal recording of a practice designed just for you and your needs.
This unique recording will be yours to use forever, whenever you need. I will provide ongoing support to help you develop your practice, via email on the days in between our sessions if you need.
Someones we need someone to just hear us, witness us and validate the space we are in. This can help us find clarity and feel more connected to ourselves. I feel it is a privilege to be able to do this for people when needed.
We discuss onwards referrals to other professionals when appropriate.
